JOHAN SWART
A specialist management workshop facilitator of strategic and operational planning, organisation design and other strategic decision-making outputs. Johan has facilitated thousands of outputs over a 36-year career over the most diverse spectrum of organisations in the public and private sectors in Southern Africa.
He is a co-developer of the well-known Leader-Manager Toolkit and the designer of the new Diagknows Software Solution that has been used in thousands of focus group sessions.
He developed the “real-time” documentation of facilitated content practice in 1986 already and is known to be the productivity benchmark in facilitation practices delivering workshop results directly at session end. He is the author of the book “How to revolutionise your workshop facilitation practices”
CHRISTINE FOURIE
Christine has an MCom Business management degree (Cum Laude) obtained through UNISA. She supported hundreds of facilitated workshops over a period of 11 years enabling real-time documentation of facilitated content and the provision of facilitated workshop results at session end, without fail.
She is an accredited practitioner for Belbin Team Role Assessments and is also accredited as a Whole brain practitioner for Neethling Brain Instruments.
She also provides Consulting support services at SACONSULT and provides user training relating to the Diagknows group decision support system.
Her career interest is to become a training facilitator for the Emotional Intelligence training modules offered by the company under the mentorship of the Susan Minnaar and fuelled by her doctoral studies relating to the topic.
SUSAN MINNAAR
Susan and her late husband, Dr. Gawie Minnaar started EQ inc. an initiative of Minnaar& Associates CC, a company that has been active since 1986 in assisting major South African companies in increasing productivity through the acquisition of “soft skills”, and the development of emotional skills. These sought-after programmes now form part of the Group Dynamics offering.
Susan Minnaar has an MA-degree and she is a registered Counselling Psychologist. Before she lectured in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Africa, she worked at the Human Sciences Research Council and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). She resigned from the University of South Africa in 1981, due to the birth of her daughter, but continued with her part-time private practice. In 1985, she and her husband started their own business, focusing on assessment and leadership training. She continues facilitating training for a variety of companies in South Africa through a modular approach to Emotional Intelligence, which comprises a variety of intrapersonal and interpersonal training programmes. Spiritual Intelligence is her passion and she published a book on the topic in 2006 in South Africa and in 2007 in the UK, USA and Canada. In 2006, she introduced a two-day Spiritual Intelligence Programme for executives on a corporate level
PAUL VAN DER MERWE
Paul van der Merwe has an MA in industrial psychology (Cum Laude) and specialised in organisation diagnoses with the aim of improving organisation and human resources performance. He was a senior lecturer at the NWU focusing on management and leadership development, published several articles on the topic and developed a range of diagnostic instruments to measure and monitor organisation, employee and customer compliance and satisfaction levels.
He has conducted more than 150 social science research projects and developed more than 30 short skills programmes to improve organisation, management, team and employee competence levels. Paul is well experience in aligning organisation and people development through change management, OD and total organisation improvement practices and interventions.
